The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a California Car Crash

Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.

The renowned game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a highway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents a devastating loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
