New information has come to light about the tragic demises of renowned film director Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were located at their Brentwood, Los Angeles property on Sunday.

The Discovery

According to a report quoting a family associate, a practitioner arriving for an appointment first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the home. The practitioner then got in touch with the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides in the vicinity.

Upon entering the residence, Romy came upon her father's body. Accounts indicate she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, without knowing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Another individual who had accompanied her contacted 911. Subsequently, emergency responders located Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Developments

Authorities have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of premeditated murder, along with the charge related to a weapon, reportedly a knife. He is presently in custody and denied bail.
